Scope of work
The cope of this project includes the design and all necessary construction capabilities to demolish existing destroyed stone bridge, construction of a 160 m prestressed girder bridge with approach road at the Saracha crossing point in Nangarhar Province. This Bridge/Road is designed by TBC engineers, capable of handling heavy truck traffic and non-tracked military vehicles, it is designed with the 2012 edition of the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, for class 70 Tons heavy truck traffic and military vehicle loading and designed to withstand the wind and seismic loads. The bridge has 7.10-meter concrete way for the vehicle traffic and 1.5 meter walkways on both sides. Asphalt surface Roads 1Km and bridges have two separate lanes of traffic
